Welcome
Welcome to the THREE.8.WERKS Forum. Login to access the message boards.

The 6th Annual eurothon is behind us. This event is all about a good time, seeing friends that you haven't seen since last season and catching up. There were the usual People's Choice Awards and the Dr. Ferdinand Porsche PROPER Award going to "Cosmic Bunny" Ivan.
Empire City Raceway and Casino played host to some of the sickest euros from the area and beyond. We're already lined up for 2010. Hope to see you there!

I was suspicious that my car was acting funny lately and i checked my oil and found out that i had VERY LITTLE (good thing i was using synthetic) the CEL would come on every now and then and asked tim about it. Tim told me to put 5w40 castrol syntec in it every now and then because the 2.0T are notorious for burning oil. Checked the forum and was told that right before your oilchange, your car would burn about 1/2 the oil that it was being put in. According to Tim, this was normal..!!

Funny, i thought i was leaking oil, but i guess i was burning it!! After doing some research and asking tim, and steve checking my oil, i know invest in a case of castrol syntec 5w40....

i know thoe vortex is not a good source of information but, after my disbelief i found that i am not the only one...

Yes sir I have put about seven quarts of oil extra since I owned this car. Kev you need to check from time to time more in the summer time.
