Welcome
Welcome to the THREE.8.WERKS Forum. Login to access the message boards.

The 6th Annual eurothon is behind us. This event is all about a good time, seeing friends that you haven't seen since last season and catching up. There were the usual People's Choice Awards and the Dr. Ferdinand Porsche PROPER Award going to "Cosmic Bunny" Ivan.
Empire City Raceway and Casino played host to some of the sickest euros from the area and beyond. We're already lined up for 2010. Hope to see you there!

do PA. It will be worth it in the long run. You wont have to buy all 4 tires, and the wheels will look better too. You need anyone to go with you? how far is it? I have the t-reg, if you want to to chip in for gas.....shit's expensive as fuck. 75$ to fill it up with 87......lol

oooooOOOOooo i like them. slightly flashier, but as long as the passat stays clean you'll be good. Alot of the black pieces in the car now would either have to be color matched.....

just my .2cents

ugh.....

if you do them black...do like a satin black. Not a high gloss black. It's such a flat-spoke wheel that it will over power the car if they are so shiny. It's going to look getto-fabalas in my opinion.....

It it was a multi-spoke wheel, i'd say go for the gloss, but not with these.

On top of that.....since when does a gloss black faltter a pearl silver paint? that's contrasting as it is.

The reason the white passat looks good, is because that is a no-pearl glossy white paint. and it's white, it's bright enough to off set the black.

Let backstrack...

what look are you going for?

do you want something radical/custom?
euro?
clean?
flashy?
plain?
OEM?

Obviously my preferred look is a cross between OEM/Euro with Clean all around.

He wants to look GEEEEHH TOOOEE FAAAB U LUUUUSSSS !!! ScubaSteve Style....ha ha.

But yes.......I would have to agree with you on the contrast of colors T.
Satin black wheels would look better on a Silver car in general......IIIFFFF....Steve paints the lips and skirts the same satin paint.

It would all tie in.
