FINALLY! Is that an understatement? Finally we're getting our Diesel Rabbit aka Golf aka Rabbit....back! With rising demand and popularity for diesel vehicles, Volkswagen of America has decided to build a limited run of 2010 TDI Diesel Rabbits to get a feel for the market response targeted directly to the Rabbit/Golf.

A spokesperson for VWOA said “A diesel Rabbit is natural for Volkswagen to sell because this is a vehicle that the customer expects us to build, German engineered, fuel efficient, fun to drive and well within reach of the working consumers budget”

The 2010 Diesel Rabbit will bring a few small changes to the exterior. This, as they say, will separate the Rabbit TDI from the bunny pack. The headlight assembly will be finished in a dark charcoal finish instead of chrome found on regular rabbits, a distinctive 6 spoke cast aluminum wheel and smoked taillight treatment completes the upgraded look of the 2010 Diesel Rabbit.

The suggested MSRP for the 2010 Diesel Rabbit will be $18,700.00, Destination charge $650.00
