Welcome
Welcome to the THREE.8.WERKS Forum. Login to access the message boards.

The 6th Annual eurothon is behind us. This event is all about a good time, seeing friends that you haven't seen since last season and catching up. There were the usual People's Choice Awards and the Dr. Ferdinand Porsche PROPER Award going to "Cosmic Bunny" Ivan.
Empire City Raceway and Casino played host to some of the sickest euros from the area and beyond. We're already lined up for 2010. Hope to see you there!

After my accident sunay with the hood at the show, I need to do something.
1) Sell the car, (which i really want to do and get a nice GTI, of Jetta, but nothing i see yet)
2) Buy new hood $300 to much
3) Paint the center black which cover the dent (pic below, for example)

At the show my hood shock broke at the bottom and the hood went on to the windshield because of the wind, so there is some cracks in the previous body work, not counting the tons of dents, chips, and terrible paint

If i fix the dent then sand a 1000 grit it should be hidden,

I dunno Steve.......If you're gonna paint ur hood black, then you should paint the whole hood black, then your roof and your trunk.

I can't see you driving a GTI....ha ha....that's just me.

I love to read, unfortunatly my only spare time is when im sitting on the can. It would take too long to read a book for 10 min a day :/ so for now I'll stick to PVW for reading, and eurotuner for wiping.

Hey Steve the hood is not that bad it can be fix the right way. Why cover it up with black paint just have it fix later. Ruben is right black will show up much more if your just going to paint it and not fix the damage.

If you're keeping the passat and want to fix the hood, fix, don't paint it black :( just my opinion.

But if you're set on a corrado...oooooo baby. now ya talking.

I don't know, If i keep the passat. Im going to leave it alone for a while until I gain some capital to make a more solid decision on selling or repairing.

The Corrado above is no longer in question, to much money for a nice looking headache.
