Welcome to the THREE.8.WERKS Forum. Login to access the message boards.

The 6th Annual eurothon is behind us. This event is all about a good time, seeing friends that you haven't seen since last season and catching up. There were the usual People's Choice Awards and the Dr. Ferdinand Porsche PROPER Award going to "Cosmic Bunny" Ivan.
Empire City Raceway and Casino played host to some of the sickest euros from the area and beyond. We're already lined up for 2010. Hope to see you there!

Quick Story...

Britt and I were at her employee holiday dinner when we overheard a co-worker's husband speak of junking his passat wagon. I've seen it before and knew it was a vr6, so i inquired why. He told me it has a bad water pump, and also needs a new pulley and belt. So I figured what the hell, and I asked him how much he wanted for it, and WHAM !!! He said it was free, just get it off his property in the next week, so I did. Towed it down to my house, now we have a good winter car.

Just have to fix it and we'll be all set.

hey Tim, parts from rapid were kinda pricey, so i figured i'd call the local German auto mechanic near me- Klaus Garage- and he quoted me $650 for the pump, pulley, and serp belt !!!

holy shit!!!!

i think i'm just going to keep searching for parts, and do it at my buddy's place.
