Welcome
Welcome to the THREE.8.WERKS Forum. Login to access the message boards.

The 6th Annual eurothon is behind us. This event is all about a good time, seeing friends that you haven't seen since last season and catching up. There were the usual People's Choice Awards and the Dr. Ferdinand Porsche PROPER Award going to "Cosmic Bunny" Ivan.
Empire City Raceway and Casino played host to some of the sickest euros from the area and beyond. We're already lined up for 2010. Hope to see you there!

Quick question you have 2 different intercoolers that don't go together. And 2 different sets of wheels unless you need a spare set. Not counting your stock

dammmnnn that's a list! I agree with ralph, stickers off, badges off, dents/scratches fixed should be number one priority, then suspension, then wheels and ull notice that just with that it'll be a big difference, oh and NO armor-all on the interior

I agree with above. This pattern will usually get you going in the right track based on needs vs wants.

1- Fix body first (dents, scratches, missing parts etc)
2- debadge/de-sticker
3- suspension
4- wheels

ps (if you get the ECS brake it kit comes with eveything you need, including lines and fluid)

I think you should go with 8/10 or 10/10 spacers to sit closer to the outer fender line. You also don't want to sit flush either, otherwise the wheels will sit too far out and it will look like you car is taking a dump.

some of the things that i get first, i scratch off the list like the rims and intercooler, whatever i get first, then i delete both of them if i have a double.

-19 BBS
-Coilovers (id look into other companies like H&R, koni, b+g, a few others before ever looking into Tein) it all depends on what youre looking to get from the coils
-GTI shift knob
-H&R/Neuspeed front and rear sway bars (autotech ones have been known to break on the mkV) hotchkis makes a set also
-Pioneer Avic D3 - Enfig
-4 Piston ECS Porsche brake kit/Brembro -h2sport (if i aint big brake kit id upgrade to the .:R brakes, bigger than our stock ones and not overkill)
-H&R 5mm/8mm Spacers+ bolts (depends on wheels and offset)
-APR/GHL 3inch downpipe
-Revo Stage 2
-Euro Bumper GTI rear(oempl.us)
-Golf 5 R32 Smoked Tails
-2.0T S3 KO4 Turbo Upgrade -DEAD LAST

thats the approach id take on the list you put on, not in any specific order.

Ralph you keep posting wheels with the wrong off set for the MKV :rotfl: The dude with the RC is probably selling them because he fucked up off set is 32. Best off set for MKV would be between 45 - 48 et. :D
