Welcome to the THREE.8.WERKS Forum. Login to access the message boards.

The 6th Annual eurothon is behind us. This event is all about a good time, seeing friends that you haven't seen since last season and catching up. There were the usual People's Choice Awards and the Dr. Ferdinand Porsche PROPER Award going to "Cosmic Bunny" Ivan.
Empire City Raceway and Casino played host to some of the sickest euros from the area and beyond. We're already lined up for 2010. Hope to see you there!

So for next year I am looking to do some serious upgrading in my interior.

Besides seats...which I am almost reaching a decision about, the steering wheel needs an update.

I want to go clean, simple, elite, but most of all quality.

Raid is all that and more. But of course.....either go big or go home.
Their prices are not conservative. Anything but.
Unless you are looking at the bottom of the barrel...

that one, a 300mm, is about $275.

Of course, I automatically looked at what the best one had to offer, and the damn thing is sick.

Even thought in someone's eyes it might be ugly as sin, it's functionality and quality is second to none.

Carbon Fiber and has an airbag. What more do you need?

here are the quoted specs:

- 340mm sport size for better leg room when steering column is lowered.
- Perforated leather side sections for better grip and less sweat slip.
- hand stitched!
- aluminum flush horn buttons
- real carbon fiber sections in your choice of black or silver
- TuV approved airbag unit (like all Raid air bag wheels)
- Fitment for most all Volkswagens, Audi, BMW and other models

oh I almost forgot....

Daytona black carbon airbag steering wheel 340mm....a little bigger than I prefer....

US $ 1249.00

opinions?

I actually prefer the $1249.00 one even though the price is astronomical. It's Carbon fiber and airbagged", and rare as hell. Haven't seen one state-side yet. hmmm....

a black headliner is about 600$ (20th anniv)

still undecided on which route I am going. black OEM or custom somehow...

i will let you know when I sell mine. it's awesome with the isotta steering wheel wrap.
